How The Chicken CSA Works

​1.  Select the number of chickens for your family for 2022 (below) - csa runs from May to October

2.  Provide a deposit of $10.00 per chicken to be locked in for guaranteed birds

​3.  Pick up your order at Reformation Farms within one week of notification
The CSA is Open for Signup!  Reserve your chicken at any point until
​March 31, 2022.​

​Our Program
  • Whole fresh, frozen chicken (average size is 4 pounds)
  • Parts [neck, liver, heart, feet] not included - please email if you're interested in purchasing 
 
We will raise your birds, process them at 8 weeks maturity and transfer to the freezer as a whole chicken.  At your convenience, pick up your order directly at the farm within one week of notification.  We require a deposit fee and the final price will make up the remaining balance by paying per pound.  *Please see pricing example below.


Pricing
  • Deposit fee = $10.00 per bird  (pay by card or bank transfer)
  • Price per pound  = $6.20

​*An Example: 
  • Pay $10.00 up front per chicken
  • 4 lb bird at $6.20/lb = $24.80 minus $10.00 deposit = $14.8o​ due at pickup
Here at Reformation Farms , our chickens are moved each morning onto fresh pasture where they receive sunshine and insects supplemented with non-GMO feed.
